About Tax Preparation

A few things to know about tax prep:
 

• Pricing: Individual tax returns start at $450
  Corporate, partnership and other tax returns: Starting at $600 -- This does not include any additional accounting needed prior to completing return
   

• I do not prepare your return during an initial meeting, this is only to gather information and discuss anything needed. 
   

• New clients must pay a non-refundable deposit of $450 prior to tax prep.  I do not take payment out of refunds.  Payment is due prior to completing your tax return.
   

• Turnaround time goal is 2-3 weeks
   

• Deadline and Extension Info: If all information is not received by March 15 (for individual returns), I cannot guarantee your return will be completed by the April 15th deadline and an extension will be required. Filing an extension does not eliminate interest and underpayment penalties from being added to your account by the IRS and state. The extension will only eliminate costly late filing fees.  If you believe you will owe and would like to make a payment with your extension please let me know.
